This special happened before Christmas in 2013, then a year later I was asked to make an updated version with some new material. My first response was 'as long as I can do an interview with Kelly again.' Kelly is a lot of fun to talk to. Our first interview was about an hour and I used half of it for the special, our second interview was an hour and between both of our parenting stories and advice, jokes and random tangents, I used maybe 10 minutes, but it was a good time. That also helped me understand the implicit smile behind a lot of these songs, she was a kid in a candy store. Hopefully a third sometime.
